There are hundreds of colleges and universities in the Philippines that give up to ten or more scholarships every year. There are not enough swimmers in the Philippines to take advantage of all the scholarships. Swimming For Scholarships will find the best scholarship for each of our high school graduates.  We have a 100% track record! Over 50 high school graduates have received scholarship offers.

 

Does Swimming For Scholarships pay for each students college education?

No, Swimming For Scholarships provides free, competitive swimming training so that our student/athletes can reach their athletic potential. Universities and colleges provide the scholarships.

 

Do swimmers need to be nationally ranked to get a full scholarship?

No, any well trained swimmer with 1 year of training will be able to qualify for a full scholarship. The swimmers with the fastest times in competition will be offered scholarships to the top universities in the Philippines. Less talented swimmers will be offered scholarships to local universities and colleges.

 

Is the training difficult?

Yes, but the increase in difficulty will be gradual.

 

What if my child says the training is too difficult?

Many will think it is too difficult at first but they will soon realize that they can overcome difficulties and they will learn to take on greater challenges.  The hardest obstacle to overcome will be their first obstacle. After that they will have more confidence.

 

What if my child doesn’t win medals?

Medals are nice but personal improvement is most important. Only 1 can win but everyone can improve.  A scholarship can still be attained though a medal was never won.

 

What if my child does not have an expensive swim suit?

Swimming For Scholarships will soon be able to provide swim suits for competitions.
